#BLACKLIVESMATTER has written its name in history

Though we won't see Black Lives Matter go down on the same level as the Black Panthers, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King; this movement definitely deserves it's place in history for destroying social media with it's presence; ABSOLUTELY MONUMENTAL!!!!!!.

Black Lives Matter brought about a media presence that the black communities of America needed not to mention exposure to the fact that systematic oppression of black people is still prevalent today and many can argue why but the truth is because blacks still haven't established themselves worldly as a economic powerhouse though Africa is the richest nation by resources in the world. President Mugabe of Zimbabwe has taken great leaps in showing the world that blacks can stand without the assistance of European/American powers, however, his support isn't seen through the whole continent of Africa, which, shows that though we have produce capable leaders; without the proper support, their progress is minimal.

 I maintain my non-partisan status and fight against systematic oppression or what we know as racism; I personally experienced it first hand at my previous job so I can testify that this system exist strong and is psychologically rooted in the functionality of modern society. What I mean is that, if you are not educated about the oppression; you would accept it as a societal norm or moral but it's not, it's wrong and it's inhumane.  Education is key and I will be sharing a few more books later on this month that will help you all develop yourselves as individuals.

Both of my mentors has been grilling me for my attitude lately and yes I am confessing that I was trying to force a lot of things to happen. I got worried, I allowed the fear of the future to get me completely out of my grove. I remember I would wake up hungry, ready to take on the challenges of the day and lately I've had mornings, where I didn't want to even face the reality of what my life was. Why am I still in my box?

A year ago my mentor sent me an email about me being inside of box- not showing the world who I am, what my talents are and the gift that God has given me. Eventually I learned how to come out of my box while living in the UK and I was able to impact a few lives while doing so.  Living inside the box was safe, no one knew me, no one expected anything of me, I could be free well at least that was the illusion I was selling to myself. In contrast, living outside of the box created a passion, it made me feel valuable, it showed me my purpose in this world and that was real freedom - knowing everyday that I can impact the world just by being who I was meant to be, created a feeling of "flying" in my soul. I actually love being outside of the box although I am more vulnerable there but I think venerability is the one thing that allows people to connect with you. How do I make progress this year ? 1. Tackling the biggest misconception about new year's resolutions(NYR) - It does not have to start at the beginning of the year. Most people begin the year believing that change must be made instantly. It does not work like that. Change just like anything in the world that is worth having, takes time. Change is like a seed, you plant it, water it and make sure it is getting exposure to sunlight. By doing those things, you have made an effort and the rest is up to the universe to decide whether you are ready for a new plant(change) in your life.
