Must Read Book !!! - For All Religious God Fearing People !!!

This book is an eye opener for people who are trying to discover who they are(identity) especially blacks. It is a book that will have you googling a lot of things as you read because of how much biblical evidence it presents. It uses the bible to supports its arguments a lot, which can be hard to follow at times since the bible is the only source the author sticks to throughout the text. For me I try to understand the bible based on the time period in which events occurred and not compare it to modern day society. For example, modern day biblical beliefs of piercings and tattoos are often considered to be markings of the beast and satanic, though, these practices are rooted in paganism, the main reason God ask us to abstain from them in the bible was based on the economic and communal era of that time. Since the bible is an African book, the people of that time was people of color, to distinguish themselves from other people, tribes would pierce their skin and get tattoos in the name of their tribe and their gods. Though satanism can play a role in tattoos and piercings it is not the main reason for God telling his people to abstain from getting them. He administered this act to protect them from being misidentified with other tribes and pagan gods worshipers.

 Lol I always stray off topic don't I ??, I know, Okay so this book gives black people an deep insight of their religious practices before slavery and why spiritually they are not developing or advancing anymore. Sounds interesting right ? Because it is !!!!!

 This book lays a foundation for readers to do further research on their religion and correct the mistakes of their forefathers and I to myself see major adjustments I need to make to grow spiritually closer to God.

Both of my mentors has been grilling me for my attitude lately and yes I am confessing that I was trying to force a lot of things to happen. I got worried, I allowed the fear of the future to get me completely out of my grove. Why am I still in my box?

A year ago my mentor sent me an email about me being inside of box- not showing the world who I am, what my talents are and the gift that God has given me. Eventually I learned how to come out of my box while living in the UK and I was able to impact a few lives while doing so.  Living inside the box was safe, no one knew me, no one expected anything of me, I could be free well at least that was the illusion I was selling to myself. In contrast, living outside of the box created a passion, it made me feel valuable, it showed me my purpose in this world and that was real freedom - knowing everyday that I can impact the world just by being who I was meant to be, created a feeling of "flying" in my soul. I actually love being outside of the box although I am more vulnerable there but I think venerability is the one thing that allows people to connect with you. How do I make progress this year ? 1. Tackling the biggest misconception about new year's resolutions(NYR) - It does not have to start at the beginning of the year. Most people begin the year believing that change must be made instantly. It does not work like that. Change just like anything in the world that is worth having, takes time. Change is like a seed, you plant it, water it and make sure it is getting exposure to sunlight. By doing those things, you have made an effort and the rest is up to the universe to decide whether you are ready for a new plant(change) in your life.
