I am Not Fighting Anymore

I am at a stage in my journey where I've completely surrender my being to the Universe - to God. Happiness lies within and can never be achieve from anything outside because everything outside is subject to change but what's within can never be change. I focus my attention on God(my internal spirit) with Jesus as my teacher guiding me through this process of growth. I am so thankful for everyone whose been reading my blog through this journey. As you read you would see the Good times and Bad times and I intended for it to be that way. I sugar coated no experience, I left out no details- this blog revealed the real me.

 As I write this final post, I would like to say thank you for you for not giving up on yourself, thank you for choosing to strive in-spite of the odds, thank you for seeking personal development. I hope you've gain valuable lessons from this blog and I hope to see you at the next stage of my journey whenever it take me. My final words of wisdom is this "Life is an adventure and trails and tribulations come not to break us but to give us a deeper understanding about ourselves. It is not a race but a marathon - ENDURE!

Both of my mentors has been grilling me for my attitude lately and yes I am confessing that I was trying to force a lot of things to happen. I got worried, I allowed the fear of the future to get me completely out of my grove. I remember I would wake up hungry, ready to take on the challenges of the day and lately I've had mornings, where I didn't want to even face the reality of what my life was. Yes, somewhere I allowed society to contaminate my mind with thoughts of being an iconic success story one day. Why am I still in my box?

A year ago my mentor sent me an email about me being inside of box- not showing the world who I am, what my talents are and the gift that God has given me. Eventually I learned how to come out of my box while living in the UK and I was able to impact a few lives while doing so.  Living inside the box was safe, no one knew me, no one expected anything of me, I could be free well at least that was the illusion I was selling to myself. In contrast, living outside of the box created a passion, it made me feel valuable, it showed me my purpose in this world and that was real freedom - knowing everyday that I can impact the world just by being who I was meant to be, created a feeling of "flying" in my soul. I actually love being outside of the box although I am more vulnerable there but I think venerability is the one thing that allows people to connect with you. How do I make progress this year ? 1. Tackling the biggest misconception about new year's resolutions(NYR) - It does not have to start at the beginning of the year. Most people begin the year believing that change must be made instantly. It does not work like that. Change just like anything in the world that is worth having, takes time. Change is like a seed, you plant it, water it and make sure it is getting exposure to sunlight. By doing those things, you have made an effort and the rest is up to the universe to decide whether you are ready for a new plant(change) in your life.
